Ascend Artist Group (“AAG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through ascendartist.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
Business inquiries
When you submit a contact form, we collect the information you provide. Depending on the inquiry, this may include:
- Name, email address, and telephone number
- Company, venue, publication, or organization
- Artist of interest
- Proposed event dates, locations, and booking details
- Website links, supporting information, and messages
- Inquiry category, submission date, and source page
Fan email subscriptions
When you subscribe to AAG fan communications, we may collect:
- Your email address
- Artists you choose to follow
- Your selected communication categories
- Your optional ZIP code
- The date, time, and source of your subscription
- The consent language presented when you subscribed
- Confirmation, preference-change, and unsubscribe records
Our fan email program uses a centralized subscriber database.
Your communication categories determine which types of messages you receive. Artist selections are optional and help us personalize those messages. You may still receive general Ascend Artist Group announcements featuring other AAG artists, even if you select only one artist or do not select any artists.
Technical and usage information
Our website and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser types, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel Inc., to understand in aggregate how our website is used. It records page views and a limited set of website interactions: ticket, streaming platform, and merchandise link clicks, completed fan email signups and confirmations, and completed business inquiry submissions by inquiry category.
For each page view or interaction, Vercel may record the page address, the referring website, the time, an approximate location derived from your connection (such as country, region, and city), and your browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. It distinguishes visits using a hash of the incoming request that is discarded after 24 hours, and it does not associate analytics data with an individual or an IP address.
We configure analytics so that email addresses, names, ZIP codes, phone numbers, form contents, and the secure links used to confirm a subscription or manage email preferences are not sent to Vercel. Pages used to confirm a subscription or manage email preferences are not recorded as page views.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and direct them to the appropriate AAG representative, artist, booking agency, or professional team.
- Deliver fan communications you have requested.
- Personalize messages based on artist interests and communication preferences.
- Identify geographically relevant performances, merchandise opportunities, and meet-and-greet experiences.
- Maintain subscription records and honor preference changes and unsubscribe requests.
- Understand website performance and improve our services.
- Protect our website, systems, and users from misuse.
- Meet applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
3. Fan Communications and Consent
AAG offers four independent categories of fan communications:
- New Releases: New music, albums, singles, and related announcements.
- General Merchandise: Artist merchandise, collections, and product announcements.
- Live Shows: Concert announcements, tour dates, and geographically relevant performances.
- Tour Merchandise / Meet & Greets: Tour-specific merchandise, VIP opportunities, and meet-and-greet experiences.
You may select the artists and communication categories that interest you.
We use a double opt-in subscription process. After submitting your email address, you must confirm your subscription through a confirmation email before your subscription becomes active.
We maintain records of consent, including the information presented at signup, the subscription source, and confirmation timestamps.
You may update your preferences or unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
4. Geographic Targeting
Providing a ZIP code is optional.
If you provide one, we may use it to identify relevant concerts, local promotions, tour merchandise, or meet-and-greet opportunities.
We do not require precise device location or continuous location tracking to subscribe.
Fans outside the United States may subscribe without providing a U.S. ZIP code.
5. Email Delivery and Engagement Tracking
AAG uses Brevo to manage fan subscriptions, preferences, and email delivery.
Marketing emails may contain technologies that help us understand whether messages were delivered, opened, or clicked. This information may be used to evaluate campaign performance and improve the relevance of future communications.
Email-open measurements may be inaccurate because of email-provider privacy features.
Marketing emails include an unsubscribe mechanism. Where supported, they also provide access to your communication preferences.
Transactional messages, such as subscription confirmations and secure preference-access emails, may be sent to administer your subscription.
6. Service Providers and Information Sharing
We use third-party service providers to operate our website and communications.
These may include:
- Vercel: Website hosting, application infrastructure, and technical operations.
- Brevo: Fan contact management, email subscriptions, campaign delivery, and engagement reporting.
- Google Workspace: Business inquiry records, spreadsheets, and operational workflows.
- Microsoft 365: Business email communications and notifications.
- Vercel Web Analytics: Aggregated website traffic and interaction measurement, as described in “Website analytics” above.
We may share inquiry information with the relevant artist, their authorized representatives, or outside booking agencies when necessary to respond to your request.
We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect our rights, services, or users.
We do not sell subscriber lists or share personal information with third parties for their independent targeted advertising.
7. Third-Party Content and Websites
Our website may feature content or links from third-party services, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, ticketing providers, venues, and artist websites.
Embedded music players and other third-party content may collect technical information or use cookies under their own privacy policies.
YouTube videos may use privacy-enhanced embedding and load when you choose to play them.
Artist images, release artwork, and fonts may be delivered by external providers, including Spotify, Apple, Google Fonts, and Fontshare. Loading these resources may disclose your IP address and technical request information to the provider.
When you follow an external link, that website’s privacy practices apply.
AAG does not directly process ticket payments through its website.
8. Cookies and Browser Storage
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies required for security, essential functionality, embedded third-party services, or analytics.
Third-party content providers may use their own cookies or tracking technologies.
Our website analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) do not use cookies, and we do not use its optional visitor-identification feature, so it does not store an identifier in your browser.
If we introduce other nonessential tracking that requires consent under applicable law, we will provide the required notices and choices.
9. Data Retention
We retain business inquiries for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, and meet applicable obligations.
Fan subscription information is maintained while your subscription remains active.
After unsubscribing, we may retain limited records of your consent, unsubscribe request, and email suppression status to honor your choice, prevent unwanted communications, and demonstrate compliance.
Information is deleted or de-identified when no longer reasonably necessary, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
10. Your Privacy Choices
You may:
- Change your selected artists or communication categories.
- Update or remove your optional ZIP code.
- Unsubscribe from all AAG marketing emails.
- Request access to personal information we maintain about you.
- Request correction or deletion of eligible personal information.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not necessarily prevent essential transactional communications relating to a request you initiate.
Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply.
To make a privacy-related request, visit our Contact page and select General.
11. Information Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information.
These measures may include restricted access, secure connections, signed subscription links, and controls against unauthorized submissions.
No online system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
12. Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and appropriately delete that information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technologies, legal obligations, or privacy practices.
When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
